Cartridge World Benchmarks Product Quality To International Standards

Market-leading retailer of refilled and remanufactured printer cartridges, Cartridge World, has reinforced its position as the leader in its field for product quality by achieving international certification for product quality testing.

Following rigorous training provided by Colin Watt of DELACAMP UK, Research and Development Manager Mike Hemming and Technical Assistant Shaun Thompson secured the prestigious Standardised Test Methods Committee (STMC) certification for Cartridge World. The testing method was developed by a global committee of leaders in the printer cartridge field to enable standardised product testing throughout the industry.    

Cartridge World can now test the quality of their laser printer cartridges using the international industry-standardised method, enabling them to develop and maintain products of the highest quality.

STMC certification testing allows Cartridge World to compare performance of their own remanufactured laser cartridges against that of the Original Equipment Manufacturer’s (OEM’s) product. This will enable Cartridge World to achieve the aim of providing print density equal to or greater than that of the OEM product, as well as attaining a page yield that is 10% higher. Product cost versus performance can also be objectively measured, enabling Cartridge World to guarantee that the quality of their products actually exceeds that of the OEM’s brand new product, for a fraction of the cost.

The test method provides results that are easy to understand, which will allow Cartridge World customers to make purchasing decisions with total confidence.
