High Wycombe Welcomes Young Entrepreneur
The High Wycombe high street has welcomed an enterprising young entrepreneur today, 20 year old Bapander Singh Khaneja.
Bapander has launched his first Cartridge World franchise and is hoping his short but successful career experience to date will help achieve great results for the leading retailer of low cost, top quality printer cartridges.
Bapander worked in the family business, a convenience store, at an early age and developed a keen interest in sales and customer service. Bapander then enrolled at Uxbridge College where he studied for a National BTEC in Travel & Tourism and a BTEC in Business and Finance, where he achieved a distinction. Spurred on by his new found academic success, Bapander set up his own convenience store - Shop to Save in West Drayton - and saw an impressive growth in sales over the first 18 months.
As a long standing customer of Cartridge World, Bapander had been interested in the business model and product offering so wanted to explore the opportunities available for joining the network. He contacted the franchise head office and was quickly welcomed to the team, enabling him to start this new venture and create two new jobs. Edward Pugh and Mark Whiteman have both been recruited as sales assistants to help support Bapander in his new venture.
Speaking about his plans for High Wycombe, Bapander said: “Opening a franchise is a completely new challenge for me, but with my previous experience and passion for delivering excellent customer service, combined with my qualifications, I feel that I am well equipped to grow the business over the next couple of years.”
Residents and businesses across High Wycombe will be able to improve their environmental credentials by reducing the amount of cartridges sent to landfill, while also saving money, thanks to the arrival of the brand new store, on Desborough Road.
Cartridge World stores offer a low cost, high quality alternative to all major brands of inkjet and laser cartridge, giving customers substantial savings on the cost of their printing and an environmentally friendly alternative to throwing the cartridge into landfill - where it can take up to 1000 years to decompose.
