Cartridge World Revolutionises Refill Market With UK First

Cartridge World has launched its latest industry innovation – the automated Cartridge World Production (CWP) Quality System.

Developed exclusively for Cartridge World by US partner, TonerHead Worldwide, the CWP Quality System uses the latest integrated technology to enable precise and efficient inkjet cartridge cleaning, testing and refilling.

The first machine of its kind to be used in the UK, the CWP Quality System will be initially available across three of Cartridge World’s high street stores in Luton, Nuneaton and Petersfield before being offered to the company’s remaining 150 UK branches.

The system, which is compatible with over 140 print-head cartridges, delivers excellent product quality, improves efficiency and reduces waste.

The CWP Quality System builds on proven technology already in use within Cartridge World network. It utilises touch screen capability that from a central internet server guides the user through the inkjet cartridge cleaning, repairing, refilling and finishing processes. The system also further enforces Cartridge World’s exacting quality standards by automatically testing each and every unit to ensure optimum print performance.

As well as providing remotely accessible reports, the CWP Quality System runs full operational diagnostics and electrical testing with performance results being shared in real time. A further benefit is that system upgrades are downloaded automatically to ensure the latest information is available to Cartridge World’s team of experts.
