New York Daily News Runs Article on Sky High Printer Ink Costs

In our previous posts and in the UK press, the high cost of original printed branded ink has often been commented on. Usually the comparison has been made between the cost of ink compared to champagne.

This contentious issue was also covered in June last year by BBC Watchdog, where Cartridge World Aylesbury were invited to comment.

It seems now the New York Daily News is wading into the discussion, comparing ink costs to champagne, petrol and milk. Our Cartridge World colleagues in New York were also asked to comment.

“People are paying a ton of money for a very small amount that doesn’t cost a heck of a lot to make,” Greg Carafello, Cartridge World’s master franchisee of New York and New Jersey told the Daily News.

To educate consumers about this issue, our colleagues in the USA are now planning on running radio adverts.
