Why finding the right printer matters
Printer cartridges can be confusing. Many printer models sound similar, and small differences in model numbers can mean completely different cartridges.
For example, one printer may use standard ink cartridges, another may use XL versions, while a laser printer may need both a toner cartridge and a separate drum unit. Starting with your printer model helps reduce guesswork and makes it easier to buy with confidence.

How to use Find My Printer
Use the website search bar
At the top of the Cartridge World website, enter your printer model or cartridge code. Try to include the brand and model number if you know it.
Choose the matching printer page
Look for the result that best matches your printer. Once you are on the correct printer page, you will see compatible ink or toner options for that model.
Click “Save this printer”
Saving your printer adds it to your My printers list, making it much easier to come back to the right cartridges later.
Use “My printers” next time
When you return to the website, open My printers and select Buy cartridges next to the printer you need.
What should I search for?
The best search term is usually the printer brand followed by the model number. You can often find this on the front of the printer, on a label, inside the printer menu or on a previous order confirmation.

Tip: If you are unsure of the full model, try searching for the brand and the part of the model number you can see. For example, instead of searching only “printer ink”, try “Canon MG3650” or “HP 305”.

Yes. Open My printers and select Remove next to any printer you no longer want to keep in your list.
